This post directly relates to the current NEEDS of Glory House. Glory House is a project that is being developed in order to bring glory to the Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ. Glory House will serve as a home for Guatemala's orphaned, abandoned, and abused children, as well as street children under the age of 7. Glory House is being established in Guatemala's poorest department, Alta Verapaz and will be the very first home in the entire department. It will be the 20th accredited home in Guatemala.
As missionaries, we moved here in September of 2011 and have been working nonstop. We have no other ministries we are partnered with and moved here without knowing anyone. We have since then, because of YOU, because of the LORD, found and purchased two acres of land and began construction of the first phase of the orphanage. We have obtained our visas and received permanent resident status which is necessary to live and work in the country and have started the process of accrediting our home with the Consejo Nacional de Adopciones en Guatemala (CNA).
It would be a lie for me to tell you that we have everything we need to move forward. As most of you know, unlike other missionaries or nonprofit organizations, we do NOT fund-raise. Our mission is faith-based 100% and so far to this day we have never not been able to make the next payment due. We want to show the world that is watching us that the Lord is real. He is Jehova-Jireh, our Provider. The Lord raises our funds for us by touching people's hearts and leading them to give. We, Mision Vida Nueva, do not write letters asking for donations or host events that bring in funds.
We focus solely on what the Lord has called us to do - make His name known and raise up the most unlikely disciples that can go and carry His word to their nation. We empower God's children to change the world and we let God make the way for it to happen.
Many of you have asked about our needs and I wanted to lay them out for everyone to see. We want you to catch this vision. We do not yet have children in our care because we do not yet have a shelter to put them under, or food to give to them, or resources to hire the caregivers that will nourish and love them back to life. We have made it 1/3 of the way through the process of accreditation and can not give the multitudes of orphaned, abandoned, abused children what they need until these basic things have been completed. It may be hard to catch the vision without a child's face in front of you, but those children will continue to be left unfound, unloved, unsheltered, and scarcely fed until we can complete the chart below. The Bible lays out a plan for the most important things. For example, in order to be saved, one must hear. In order to hear, they must be preached to. In order for them to be preached to, one must go.
The same with this. In order to raise the least of these up to be healthy disciples, head over heels in love with their Savior, we must start at the beginning. Catch our vision and if nothing else, PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY with us and for us that each of these absolutely necessary needs would be met, that the Holy Spirit would pour out His fire into the hearts of believers, and we would be able to boldly move forward, not leaving anyone behind.

With our non-profit organization, our finances have been and will remain transparent to everyone. In 2011 we received a total of $25,306.85 in donations, all unspecified except for one that was specified to go toward the accreditation process.
So far in 2012 we have received $22,608.00 in donations. As of today, we still owe $65,637.87 , $28,429.87 of which is due by the end of this year.
Any donation made can be specified to go toward any item on this list. Any donation not specified by something on this list, or specified to something other than what is on this list will go to the most pressing need of the organization at that time.
