Mision Vida Nueva

"Empowering God's children to change the world."

Mision Vida Nueva, which means New Life Mission, was founded by Jenna Haynes in 2011 with the hope of being able to give a new life to orphans living in Guatemala. In September 2011, Jenna moved to Guatemala to begin this mission. In December 2011 she married Geoffrey Haynes and together they are in the process of building the first children's home, Casa Gloria. While reaching out to the people living in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala’s poorest department, they will open this home up to children who are orphaned, abandoned, and abused.

Casa Gloria will provide a safe haven for these children. They will be fed, clothed, and cared for. Any children needing medical assistance will receive what is necessary. We will ensure that these children receive a good education, which will include learning English. Casa Gloria will also provide an opportunity for the children to have a close relationship with the Lord through Jesus Christ. They will be able to study the Bible and attend worship services. The children will also learn different trades according to their interests and abilities so that when they reach an age to begin a life of their own, they will have the opportunity to attend college and/or go out and make a productive life for themselves.

"Driven by the belief that the Lord Jesus Christ is worthy of the worship of all people and that all people should have the opportunity to know and worship Him."
